Tomorrow is my birthday, I would write this then but I wont have a chance. I have set scouting, a shoot and more scouting to do before I can even sit down and start to enjoy my day, lol.

Hey Peeps,

I'm taking some vaca to travel to Halifax in October. I will be gleaning some business/photog info from some really talented characters, getting a dedicated website built, and hopefully getting a few shots with a most fabulous model(of which you will see soon.).

I am also hoping that I will have time to hang with some friends and thoroughly enjoy the vaca while I have it.

So if you want to get together and shoot, chat, eat, drink, or all of the above, give me a holler. I will be staying with my friend Alex (paucey.deviantart.com) while I am there, who is a great source of inspiration, a "male-muse" if you will, and the guy who started me in the direction of photography. hey people,

i am in the middle of a big decision, besides going full-time photography. i have to ask whether or not to move to Halifax, NS or Charlottetown, PEI.

another thing is that if i go to Charlottetown, then do i take a 9-5 portrait photographers position and do my own stuff on the side? or do i take another course at Holland College for photography(on top of the diploma i have), mix it up with some people in the industry for a year and do my own stuff on the side?

*sigh* decisions, decisions....

let me know what you think, I NEED INPUT PEOPLE!!!

hey hey, today is the day and i have to get ready, so i will make this short and sweet. I'm getting married today!!(hence the title, lol) also i will be gone for about a week or so(honeymoon), but will be back with tonnes of shots(i still have to work a little bit).

okay, so let's start from the top:

Shoots: I have two shoots coming up this Sunday, one is a family portrait for a mother and her baby, she needs to get this done asap bc children at this age tend to change at a rapid pace. The other shoot is both to increase my portfolio and to help the model with her project. Victoria is running for our local "Princess" this year and she needs a nice headshot to blow away both the public and judges alike, so i'm going to help her in all of those departments. Also, we both have some creative ideas for some shots just for fun, a little wardrobe, makeup, hairstyle. We will see what we come up with and get back to you.

Projects: I recently spoke to a local photographer about a series he was interested in and started doing(sorry, i cant tell you what it is about, you will just have to wait and see) and it really interested me, in fact, i touched base with him again on the subject and possibly collaborating with him on the series. I know of a magazine/publishing company that caters for buyers of fine art. they create beautiful books and design it to your liking.

Technique: I've also learned of a newer, better, more natural looking way of processing my portrait/model photographs, and i am tweeking it with every new shot i test, so keep an eye out for the ones of Victoria coming up bc they will be tested, lol.

Wedding: Yesssss, I am getting married, July 11th, to the most fantastic woman Sandra(you have seen her in my work, she's the blonde hottie, lol) we have been stressing(and when i mean we, i mean her stressing and me running for cover, lol) over this for months now, trying to get everything done(and paid) but it is soon going to come and we can start enjoying life again.
